$Ride Brisbane's famous ferry end to end for the best sightseeing on the river
Treat Brisbane's public ferry as a sightseeing cruise and ride it the whole way. The CityCat runs from the University of Queensland to Northshore Hamilton, passing South Bank, Kangaroo Point Cliffs, New Farm, Bulimba and Howard Smith Wharves, and under the Story Bridge. Every trip is 50c with a Go Card or a contactless card. Boats run about every 15 minutes through the day and the full run takes about 90 minutes. City terminals are at North Quay, South Bank and QUT Gardens Point.

Pick up a Go Card from any newsagent or 7-Eleven (if you don't have one)
Board at any CityCat terminal, South Bank, North Quay, or QUT Gardens Point are good starting points
Ride upstream towards UQ or downstream towards Northshore Hamilton
Hop off at any stop that catches your eye, New Farm for the Powerhouse, Bulimba for Oxford Street cafes, or Northshore for Eat Street
Or just ride the whole loop and enjoy the views
