FreeWander through open-air galleries of world-class murals hidden in Brisbane's laneways
Take a self-guided walk through Brisbane's street art scene, from the massive Fintan Magee murals on Fish Lane to the colourful laneways of Fortitude Valley. Fish Lane in South Brisbane is an entire arts precinct with commissioned murals, sculptures, tiny fairy doors by Mace Robertson, and a living green wall of 10,000 plants. In the Valley, Bakery Lane and Winn Lane are packed with street art, indie cafes, and hidden bars. Burnett Lane in the CBD and the Brisbane Powerhouse riverside path round out the trail. The art changes regularly, so there's always something new.

From start to finish, what to expect.
Start at Fish Lane, South Brisbane (5 min walk from South Bank station)
Walk the full length of Fish Lane, look for Fintan Magee's 'Head in the Clouds', the tiny doors, and Gillie and Marc's 'Dogman' sculptures
Cross to Fortitude Valley and explore Bakery Lane and Winn Lane
Optional: walk to Burnett Lane in the CBD for more murals
